Professor of Evolutionary Biology at Lund University, Sweden, and prior to that held positions at Oxford, Arizona and Wollongong universities. Tobias’ research lies on the interface of evolutionary biology, developmental biology, and ecology. He is the author of over 200 scientific articles and 2 books, including Philosophy of Science for Biologists and Evolutionary Causation: Biological and Philosophical Reflections.
Tobias is a Wallenberg Scholar and was awarded the Tage Erlander Prize for natural science and technology by the Swedish Royal Academy of Sciences.
