A Lise Meitner group leader at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology at Plön, Germany, and affiliated with Lund University, Sweden. Prior to that Nathalie held positions at Oxford and Konstanz universities.
An evolutionary biologist with a background in comparative genomics and developmental biology, Nathalie’s research spans the developmental origins of novelties, the role of developmental plasticity in evolution, evolvability, and genome evolution. She is the author of c. 35 scientific articles. She has held fellowships from the Humboldt and Wennergren foundations and is recipient of an ERC Starting Grant.
